The Cookie Exchange No. 2!

The first ever Kelsey Elizabeth Cookie Exchange is taking place at The Elliot in Tremont, Ohio on December 13th!  This is a community event thought up by Kelsey to get bakers, Christmas lovers, and cookie lovers together for a fun night to sample everyone's favorite family recipes, enjoy holiday sips and bites, mingle with fellow cookie enthusiests, and exchange cookies!

Get your oven mitts ready! Each guest is required to bring 6 dozen of their favorite holiday cookie, (all 6 dozen must be the same cookie recipe); 2 dozen of those will go on our tasting table, and 4 dozen will go to the actual exchange! Each guest will leave with their choice of 48 cookies to bring home and enjoy! This is a true cookie exchange! In total, we'll have over 4,800 cookies for tasting, and 9,600 cookies for swapping! Plus Kelsey and her team will give out judges choice awards for their favorite cookies!

The event is taking place at The Elliot! Formerly home to the Holy Ghost Church in Cleveland’s Tremont neighborhood, The Elliot has been renovated to provide modern features while honoring its historic architecture. At 10,000+ square feet, The Elliot is well equipped to host the biggest cookie exchange ever, and should also be kept in mind for any future events! Their gorgeous chandelier makes it truly a stunning atmosphere!

FAQs

Can I bring a guest?

We currently are only selling cookie exchange tickets, meaning if you and your friend or significant other would both like to attend, each of you will need to buy a ticket, and each of you will be responsible for bringing 6 dozen cookies. If we decide to open it to non-cookie bringing guests, that will be a seperate ticket at a later date. Those are not available at this time.

When does the exchange start?

Doors open at 6:30pm, and all participants will need to be at The Elliot, with their cookies in place, by 7:15pm.

What type of cookies can I bring?

Cookies, bars, cut outs, no bakes, even brownies or rice krispie treats are welcome! The only rules are:

1. Cookies MUST be homemade. No store bought cookies allowed.

2. NO REFRIGERATION. No cheesecake, pudding, custards, etc. Anything that needs to be refrigerated is not allowed. Cookies must be able to sit out at room temperture.

When do I have to decide on my cookie?

When you buy your ticket, you will be required to give us the cookie name and brief description of what you're bringing, so make sure to have it ready! If you'd like to switch cookies before the event, simply call or email our flagship store (kecflagship@gmail.com), by December 1st so we can change your label and description.

What should I bring my cookies in?

You can bring them in any container or box you have; however, a disposable container is best. We will re-plate your cookies when they arrive, so don't worry about making a pretty display!

Is there an age limit?

Nope! All ages are welcome, but please keep in mind, all participants must bring 6 dz cookies, no matter the age.

Will there be alcohol?

Yes, a mocktail will be included with your ticket, and a cash bar will also be available for alcoholic beverages, please bring your ID.
